Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Sister Catherine Peter Logan, Sister Michelle Marie Ozuna, Sister Rose Reed, Sister Mary Ann Spanjers and Sister Julie Ann Sheahan were blessed to be invited to the recent Arise Milwaukee Family Day 2025 at Menomonee Falls Village Park, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. All visited with Catholic families from around southeastern Wisconsin. The night ended with an outdoor Arise Worship Prayer including Mass and Benediction. Sister Rose comments on the experience.

“I absolutely loved having the children come up to us and ask us questions for their “passport.” At the event, there were these little booklets that encouraged the kids to ask religious and priests questions like their names or favorite saints. The kids seemed to be a bit scared of me, but they were happy enough to write my name down when they asked us our names since mine was the shortest.

I especially loved having outdoor Adoration. The experience felt very Franciscan, being one with nature and with Christ. Seeing the kids so reverently kneel in the grass for Benediction was a sight to behold.

The whole experience was wonderful. “

The above photo is one of our favorites over the years. St. Clare must be smiling! May the Lord bless all those faithful families who have supported this organization’s mission to bring Jesus to tiny and adult hearts.
