On January 24-25 Lima, Perú, became the heart of our spiritual family. The Precious Blood Lay Associates from Brazil, Guatemala, Perú, Chile and Colombia gathered with joy to hold our Symposium whose motto was: “Being Disciples of Christ “.
It was a time of grace that was divided into two deep moments:
1️. The search for light: on the first day, inspired by the figure of Nicodemus, we reflected upon how to become disciples in chaotic times. As Nicodemus looked for Jesus at night, we are called to search the Truth and walk together, embracing the challenge of the current Synod of Synodality.
2️. Our roots: on the second day, we went back to the essential: our identity. We deepened our understanding of the three pillars that sustain our call in the Congregation and the Province:
* Mission: to bring the cry of the blood where it is needed the most announcing the reconciliation.
* Community: because we do not walk alone; we live our faith in the bond of charity that unites us as brothers and sisters.
* Spirituality: focused on the Precious Blood as a source of life and redemption.
We would like to thank all those who made this gathering possible.
