Executive Committee Webcast/Zoom Meeting: The Executive Committee began its meetings in Patna on February 23, 2026. The Committee looks forward to sharing decisions and highlights from the Provinces and the Africa Mission during an Executive Committee webcast on March 3, 2026, at 7:30 pm (India); 7:45 pm (Nepal); 9:00 am (Nazareth); 8:00 am (Belize); 4:00 pm (Botswana); 5:00 pm (Kenya). Corporate Voice: The Sustainable Development Goal #5 on working for gender equality is the focus of a podcast entitled Voices Against Violence. Archival Center Temporary Closing: Beginning March 9, 2026, the Archival Center will be closed to visitors during the remodeling of the Collection Storage Room. Staff will continue to respond to archives requests by phone and email throughout this period and encourage inquiries as needed. Thank you for your understanding as this work supports the preservation of the historical records of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth. An announcement will be shared when the Archival Center reopens in the coming months.
Patna Province Perpetual Vows: The Sisters of Charity of Nazareth invite all to the Perpetual Vows of SCNs Archana Beck, Swastika Kiro, and Veronica Soren. Jackulin Jesu, SCN President, will receive their vows. The Eucharistic celebration will begin at 10:30 a.m. on March 5, 2026, at Nazareth Convent, Mokama. The main celebrant will be Most Rev. Sebastian Kallupura, Archbishop of the Patna Archdiocese. Latika Kottuppallil, SCN Provincial of the Patna Province, welcomes Sisters, Associates, family members, and friends to attend and join in prayer on this occasion.
Bangalore Province Perpetual Vows: The Sisters of Charity of Nazareth of the Bangalore Province invite all to the Perpetual Vows of SCNs Alisha Anthony and Florina Joseph. Jackulin Jesu, SCN President, will receive their vows during the Eucharistic celebration at 10:30 a.m. on March 8, 2026, at Nazareth Convent, Chandapura. The liturgy will be presided over by Most Rev. Bishop Thomas D’Souza of the Diocese of Vasai. Mary Margaret Nirmala, SCN Provincial of the Bangalore Province, welcomes Sisters, Associates, family members, and friends to attend and join in prayer on this occasion.
