Franciscan Sister of Christian Charity Sister Mary Teresa Bettag gives weekly reflections on the Monday Gospel from Yuma Catholic High School in Yuma, AZ. Relevant Radio is now sharing these videos titled ‘Joy on the Journey.’ Click here to find this week’s video on their site.
Sister Mary Teresa was interviewed about this new Relevant Radio feature at the University of Mary’s Vocations Jamboree. Sister followed an interview on the Drew Mariani’s Show with Bishop Andrew Cozzens who was honored by the University of Mary for his Eucharistic Revival leadership. Listen to this broadcast here.
University of Mary Vocations Jamboree offered students the opportunity to meet members of religious communities and missionaries of service organizations from around the country. They could ask questions, schedule personal meetings with vocations representatives, and learn more about opportunities to serve God and the community. Because Manitowoc, Wisconsin weather conditions did not allow ground transportation from others of our Sisters, Sister Mary Teresa represented Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity at the Mission Minutes presentation, as well as the entire event. Her brother Brendan, who is a senior at the University of Mary, was super gracious in helping his sister prepare materials and sweet give aways for students in the exhibition hall. There is joy on the journey of being a Franciscan Sister of Christian Charity.
