The ECO Club of Nazareth Academy, Gaya, organized a special morning assembly on the theme “Bird Feeders and Nature Conservation.” The event aimed to raise awareness among students about the importance of protecting the environment and supporting local wildlife.
Students from Class VII delivered insightful speeches on bird feeders, simple yet effective structures that help sustain birdlife. They highlighted how bird feeders not only provide essential nutrients to birds, especially during harsh weather, but also offer people a peaceful way to connect with nature. The students emphasized that bird-watching can reduce stress and serve as an educational activity and hobby for children, encouraging a spirit of conservation from a young age.
The speakers explained the key benefits of bird feeders: they support birds during winter, promote better health and stronger immunity among birds, and help people engage more deeply with the natural world.
The assembly concluded with an appeal from the ECO Club to all students, encouraging them to install bird feeders and make their surroundings more welcoming to birds.
