Celebrating Creativity and Culture
The Montessori school program at Proyecto Santo Niño in Anapra, Mexico, welcomed many special visitors in recent weeks. Jesús García, director of La Charca Puppet Theater, led a creative workshop with the students. Each child designed their own puppet and had the chance to step behind the curtain to bring it to life through puppeteering. In addition, children’s book author Lucero de Alva returned to Santo Niño to share her second book with the children. Her stories highlight life in Juárez and include “Pita and the Sunflowers”The Mystery of the Alaposa.”
