A Community of Possibility
On Wednesday, Aug. 12, a group of Sisters from Mother Margaret Hall had the opportunity to visit St. Joe’s, which was founded by the Sisters of Charity in 1873. Staff welcomed the group, providing lunch and a tour that offered an opportunity to learn more about St. Joe’s mission to provide compassionate care and programming for people with developmental disabilities and support for their families. Among those visiting was S. Marianne Van Vurst, who served as administrator of St. Joe’s from 1986 until 2011.
