 Congress is the Conference’s biennial national gathering.

We'll embody the vibrant diversity of religious life and give shape to the unfolding future. Join us as we explore, together, God's hopes and dreams for this cherished way of life. What's speaking to you, and how is it part of our larger story?

Keynote presentations, seminar sessions, and focused small group dialogue attend to topics prevalent in initial formation, ongoing formation, and the professional preparation of formators. Best practices and resources provide participants practical tools to enrich the formative journey of those in consecrated life and affiliate-type programs. Communal prayer and worship are a significant part of the Congress experience. 

Who's encouraged to attend?

• Members of the formation / vocation team tasked with accompanying those in initial formation.
• Leadership liaisons charged with supporting the congregation's formation program. 
• Coordinators of ongoing / lifelong formation who direct the educational activities of the Institute. 
• Directors of associate-type programs who coordinate formative initiatives for the community. 
• Collaborators who partner with the Conference to serve religious life. 

Pilgrims of Hope, Prophets of Light

As we prepare for the 2025 Jubilee Year of Hope, we do so as women and men religious committed to being a living witness of God’s radical love. In his letter announcing the jubilee year, Pope Francis affirmed, “We must fan the flame of hope that has been given us, and help everyone to gain new strength and certainty by looking to the future with an open spirit, a trusting heart, and a far-sighted vision." It is in this spirit that we have chosen “Pilgrims of Hope, Prophets of Light” as the Congress emphasis.
