Dear Conference Members, Partners and Friends,
We are pleased to announce two new staff members will join the Conference team. Sofia Mikolyash will take over as Operations Manager and Brian Michalski will serve as Programs Manager beginning this month.
Sofia Mikolyash is experienced in the fields of finance, marketing, and public relations. She holds a Master of Science degree in Finance (Prykarpattya National University in Ukraine) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (East-West University). Sofia is active in Chicago's Ukrainian Diaspora Community and takes great pride in being a Ukrainian-American woman of faith. An optimist by nature, Sofia has a passion for justice and is always happy to help others in need.
Brian Michalski was born and raised in the Chicago area. He completed his understudies in psychology and education and his Master's in Theology from Catholic Theological Union. For the last couple years, Brian has served as a parish administrator and pastoral minister. Prior coming to the RFC, Brian coordinated the formation and training program for early care and education teachers in Illinois working with children at risk of academic failure. In his free time, Brian enjoys hanging with friends, dining out and road trips.
We are excited to welcome Sofia and Brian to the RFC. Each of them brings a skill set well suited for their roles and a passion for helping others grow and learn. They are eager to begin meeting Conference members, collaborators and friends in the near future.
Please continue to keep the Conference and our team in your prayers as we onboard new staff and transition the National Office to a new location, all the while maintaining our strong summer line-up of core programs and activities.
