From August 26-September5, 2025 the General Moderaor, Christiane Rannou, met with the two Regional Moderators from France, Giovanna Commissione and Phyllis Viens from the region of the Americas (Chile, Peru and USA) to assess the Branch’s current situation and to formulate plans for further growth.
The meeting was held in Putnam and allowed time and opportunity for small group sessions, large group gatherings, visits with members in their homes and with the folks with whom they associate on a regular basis. There were also daily outings to tourist sites and/or restaurants that offrered our European participants the chance to increase their knowledge of the American way of life, customs and weather in New England. All in all there was very little down time and a quick eval of the two weeks revealed that all participants were satisfied with the discussions,the sharing and the possibilities for future expansion on the three continents.
The photos are a good thumbnail of some of the activities included in the moderators’ itinerary including an assembly with a good number of DHS Family members that featured the visit of the Congregation Leder, Sr. Anne Almodovar who happened to be in the area at that time as well.
