The labyrinth at Nazareth has been refreshed and is ready to welcome anyone looking for a quiet place to walk, reflect and pray.

A recent restoration renewed the path and surrounding space through the work of a group of people who gave their time and energy to the project.

“Great work done. Thank you so much,” said Sister Jackulin Jesu.

The restoration was completed sooner than expected, bringing the labyrinth back into use and opening the way for visitors to experience the space again.

Misty Musk, director of the Nazareth Retreat Center, reflected on the experience of seeing the project come together.

“This entire experience has felt like a lesson in trusting the path,” she wrote. “We began not knowing exactly how or when the restoration would happen, and yet, step by step, the way opened.”

Labyrinths have long been used for prayer and reflection. A single winding path leads walkers toward the center and then guides them back out. The simple act of walking can create time to slow down, listen and reflect.

Misty hopes the renewed labyrinth will serve as a place of peace, healing, connection, and encounter for those who visit Nazareth.

Many people contributed to the effort through their work, encouragement, ideas and support. Their efforts helped renew a space that has long offered visitors an opportunity for quiet reflection.

The labyrinth is now open for Sisters, Associates, retreat guests, and anyone visiting Nazareth. Visitors are invited to walk the path, spend time in prayer, or simply enjoy a quiet place on the Nazareth campus.

With the refresh complete, the labyrinth is ready to welcome people back to the path.
