In early August, members of the CMSM Executive Committee met with Sr. Simona Brambilla, Prefect of the Dicastery for Consecrated Life, and Dr. Daniela Leggio, Head of the Office for Promotion and Formation. This meeting was a valuable opportunity for CMSM to share the realities of male religious life in the United States with the Dicastery. CMSM also participated in a collaborative meeting with Sr. Simona, Dr. Leggio, and leadership from both the Council of Major Superiors of Women Religious (CMSWR) and the Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR). This larger meeting provided an opportunity for dialogue on the state of religious life in the United States, and CMSM is grateful for the spirit of collaboration shared during this time.
