The Religious Formation Conference is excited to partner with the Holy Family Shelter in the Archdiocese of Indianapolis at Congress to raise awareness of and support for their vital ministry. Money received during the offertory at the closing Eucharist will go to support the work of the shelter.
Opened in 1984 as the first emergency shelter specifically for homeless families in Indianapolis, Holy Family Shelter works diligently to provide food, shelter, basic material needs and a safe place for homeless families to begin the process of working towards permanent housing and self-sufficiency. Holy Family Shelter annually serves 300 homeless families which include more than 600 homeless children.
