The Conference is pleased to announce the addition of two new individuals to its Board of Directors.
The Conference is thrilled to welcome two new members to the Board of Directors! Each brings a unique blend of experience, passion, and leadership that will help shape the future of our organization. Their willingness to share their time, talents, and insights is a meaningful investment in our mission and the communities we serve.
We’re deeply grateful to all who’ve stepped up to provide Board leadership and serve the now and new of religious life!
Sister Monique Tarabeh, RGS is a member of the Congregation of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd. Born in Syria, her journey has been shaped by a deep love for religious life and ministries in vocation, formation, and communication. She led the vocation team in Lebanon and Syria and served on the formation team, accompanying women during their discernment. She later served in Rome as communications coordinator for her congregation and as president of Multimedia International, where she helped form communicators for religious life across cultures and languages. She sees communication as a way of life that builds relationships and strengthens mission. Sister Monique holds a master’s degree in graphic design and communications and is currently pursuing a PhD in Organizational Leadership.
Brother Robert Droel, CFC is an Edmund Rice Christian Brother who was born on the South Side of Chicago and has a deep commitment to religious life and formation. He studied at Catholic Theological Union and has ministered among communities on the margins in Peru. Brother Robert made his final vows as a Christian Brother in 2024 and has spent the past four years ministering on the outskirts of Lima, Peru. Much of his ministry has been centered in Jicamarca, a community where many families live in extreme poverty and without running water, yet where faith remains strong and joy is abundant. He currently leads service immersion experiences in Peru for students and educators from the international network of Edmund Rice schools. Prior to his ministry in Peru, he taught high school theology in Mississippi.
