The InterCongregational Collaborative Novitiate (ICCN), based in Chicago, was established in August 2021. The program provides a quality novitiate experience with peers for novices from multiple congregations. Over the past four years, the ICCN has hosted 17 participants from 12 congregations.
The next ICCN cohort will begin August 20, 2026. In the next 12 months, the ICCN will continue to evaluate and strengthen program components and engage with congregations who are considering application to the ICCN for their candidates.
Three virtual Information Sessions are being offered on the following dates/times:
- Tuesday, September 30, 2025 from 1 to 2:30 pm Central
- Friday, December 5, 2025 from 1 to 2:30 pm Central
- Monday, March 2, 2026 from 1 to 2:30 pm Central
During the Information Sessions, Sister Nancy Gerth, ICCN director, ICCN board members and sending congregation formators will are share about their experiences and insights over the past four years. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.
