Dear Friend of the Conference,
Back in March the Conference, in partnership with the Association of Latin American Missionary Sisters (AHLMA), held a synodal consultation for formators. Over 80 registered and nearly 50 participated in this session.
The session provided formators the opportunity to connect and reflect on synodality within a formation context. It offered a space for input, shared listening and dialogue. Notes from the session were captured and sent on to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB).
We are pleased to report that the consultation notes we submitted through the USCCB were included in the Region 16 Report that informed the U.S. Synthesis and the recently released Working Document for the continental stage of the synodal process.
The Conference has posted Synodal resources and documents on our website for access and ease of use. We will continue to post materials as they become available.
We are grateful to all those in formation ministry who participated in the RFC's Synodal Consultation in March and who continue to engage the synodal process. Let us continue to keep the Church in our prayers as it traverses the Synodal Path of communion, participation, and mission.
Onward together,
Ellen Dauwer, SC
