UISG: Amid rising violence and war in many regions, the International Union of Superiors General calls for prayer, fasting, and action for peace without weapons. UISG represents more than 1,900 congregations of consecrated women religious across six continents, including nearly 600,000 Sisters. An international moment of prayer will take place Friday, March 6, at 3:30 p.m. Rome time, 9:30 a.m. Eastern time and 8 p.m. in India. The gathering will be livestreamed here and open to the faithful and all people of goodwill.

Bangalore Province Perpetual Vows: The Sisters of Charity of Nazareth of the Bangalore Province invite all to the Perpetual Vows of SCNs Alisha Anthony and Florina Joseph. Jackulin Jesu, SCN President, will receive their vows during the Eucharistic celebration at 10:30 a.m. on March 8, 2026, at Nazareth Convent, Chandapura. The liturgy will be presided over by Most Rev. Bishop Thomas D’Souza of the Diocese of Vasai. Mary Margaret Nirmala, SCN Provincial of the Bangalore Province, welcomes Sisters, Associates, family members, and friends to attend and join in prayer on this occasion.
Archival Center Temporary Closing: Beginning March 9, 2026, the Archival Center will be closed to visitors during the remodeling of the Collection Storage Room. Staff will continue to respond to archives requests by phone and email throughout this period and encourage inquiries as needed. Thank you for your understanding as this work supports the preservation of the historical records of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth. An announcement will be shared when the Archival Center reopens in the coming months.
