Belize National Day: Happy St. George’s Caye Day to the people of Belize! On Sept. 10, we celebrate Belize’s history, culture and national pride. The Sisters of Charity of Nazareth are grateful for our friends and ministry partners in Belize and for the many ways they build stronger communities. May God continue to bless Belize and its people.

Remembering Sept. 11: On the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, we remember the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives, their families, and all whose lives were forever changed. We also remember the first responders and others who came to the aid of those in need. May this day renew our commitment to peace, compassion, and care for one another.
A short prayer vigil will be held at 10:50 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 11, in St. Vincent Church.

Season of Creation Congregational Prayer Service: Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 9:30 a.m. ET, we will come together in prayer to celebrate the Season of Creation and its theme “Living Water.” All are welcome to join in this Zoom prayer service by clicking on the link here. Sisters will lead us as we thank God for the waters of the world and pray for their protection.

Corporate Voice: Sept. 20 is World Cleanup Day. This day brings together people worldwide to clean up and care for their local communities. This year’s theme focuses on how clean plates help maintain clean communities. Contemplate and take one small action for your local community.
