Nuns Against Gun Violence

While the courts have upheld TPS for Haitians, the situation remains precarious. We do not know how long this protection will hold before the administration attempts to challenge it again through the courts. This means our advocacy must continue—now more than ever.

We urgently need support for Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley’s discharge petition to protect Haitian TPS holders permanently. The petition requires 218 signatures in the U.S. House of Representatives. As of today, we are at 128 signatures. We need four Republicans and currently have one: Congresswoman Maria Salazar (R-FL).

You can see the full list of Members who have signed here:https://clerk.house.gov/DischargePetition/2026012215. Contact your representative if they haven’t and thank them if they have.

Faith In Action has made it easy for constituents to take action. Please share this Action Alert widely so individuals can email their Members of Congress urging them to sign the petition:https://secure.faithinactioninternational.org/a/haititps
