Each year the arrival of autumn brings, not only energizing brightness to nature, but also refreshing and life giving gatherings better known as school reunions.
PUTNAM CATHOLIC ACADEMY and ANNHURST COLLEGE invited their alumni to come together once more to celebrate and to strengthen their long-standing PARTNERSHIP with the Daughters of the Holy Spirit.
The Annhurst College group met at their former campus in the building that is now The Loos Arts Center in Woodstock, Ct on Saturday, September 20th while the PCA group met at Hnk’s Restaurant on Sunday, September 28.
Fun, laughter and even tears were shared throughout both events that highlighted the bonds that have kept the spirit of both schools alive for so many years.
The Annhurst PARTNERSHIP was underscored once again by the membership’ unanimous vote to offer the Sisters a gift of $1000.00 that was presented to our Development Director Dr. Françoise G. Gauthier by Alumni Reunion President Mary LaChance.
The central event at the PCA gathering was the awarding of certiificates to alumni celebrating 50 and 60 years as graduates.
In both cases parting was difficult but there is always the wonderful possibility tor both groups to gather again next year to pick up where they left off this year. In 2026 the Annhurst reunion will be on Saturday, September 15th and the PCA reunion on Sunday, the 27th. Mark your calendar now so as not to miss this chance to strengthen our partnership even more.
