Position:           Together Program Coordinator

Reports to:       Executive Director

Location:          RFC National Office (Chicago, IL)

Status:              Part-time (20 hours/week)

POSITION SUMMARY
 

The Together Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the formation component and the logistics of this collaborative between the Religious Formation Conference (RFC) and Catholic Theological Union (CTU).
 

The RFC seeks a Together Program Coordinator, a vowed member of a religious community, who is able to:
 

  1. Coordinate the formation component of the Together program in collaboration with a local advisory committee and program participants.
  2. Manage the various logistics of the Together program, including housing needs, calendar management, and follow up with RFC, CTU and participants in the program start up.
  3. Serve as a liaison between the RFC Office and CTU for the implementation needs of the program and its participants.
  4. In concert with returning members of the community, develop and coordinate an orientation for Together and support the ongoing life of its community.
  5. Communicate periodically with formation directors of the participants through a quarterly newsletter, community visits, and through other means, as needed.
  6. In conjunction with CTU’s enrollment/admissions department, oversee the annual recruitment of Together program participants.
  7. Serve on the portfolio team for those participants whose degree requires one.
  8. Assist in the marketing and ongoing development of the Together program.
  9. Attend monthly meetings of the CTU Formation Council.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
 

  1. Demonstrates passion for the mission of religious life.
  2. Supports the mission of RFC and CTU through the coordination of the formation program and logistics of Together, a joint program of RFC and CTU.
  3. Possesses the capacity to be flexible and creative in the continued development of Together.
  4. Promotes the Together program in conjunction with the Associate Director of the RFC and the Marketing and Communications department at CTU.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
 

  • Master’s Degree in Theology, Counseling, or equivalent credential and experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience collaborating with others in program development and/or implementation
  • Familiarity with initial formation ministry
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word) and the Zoom video conferencing
