Nazareth Academy, Mokama, celebrated a meaningful Pre-Independence Day program on Aug. 14, 2026, fostering patriotism and a deep sense of national pride among students and staff.

The celebrations commenced with a bicycle rally under the theme “Har Ghar Tiranga,” during which students proudly rode through the neighboring areas carrying the national flag. Their enthusiastic participation conveyed a powerful message of unity, encouraging the community to honor the Tricolour and celebrate the spirit of independence.

The highlight of the program was a special ceremony under the CRPF Commandants’ Program, “Vande Mataram,” recognizing their selfless service and commitment to safeguarding the nation. The event was further elevated by a stirring band display by CRPF personnel, whose inspiring performance filled the campus with patriotic fervor and captivated the audience. A motivating speech by Commandant Ram Bilas Gupta brought the event to a close, leaving the students with patriotic inspiration and valuable life lessons.

Adding a creative dimension to the celebration, an inter-class bulletin board competition was organized on the theme “Honoring Freedom, Inspiring the Future.” Through thoughtfully designed displays, students expressed their vision of a united and progressive India.

The students enthusiastically participated in all the events, making it a memorable day and a fitting celebration of the 80th Independence Day of our nation.
