Join us for the Safeguarding Ministry Conference as we focus on the continuum of safeguarding ministry — and be sure to secure your spot soon, as space is limited.
While the abuse of children has a robust apparatus for prevention, protection, and response, adult misconduct remains an area where policy, procedure, intervention, and best practices still need to be developed by men’s religious communities. This year, every section of the Safeguarding Ministry Conference will focus on adult misconduct in some way, while still reinforcing the core competencies of protecting children.
Together, we will hear from partners in safeguarding ministry, sharpen our responses to all types of abuse, discover new best practices, and deepen our awareness of emerging forms of misconduct.
The conference will feature plenaries, breakouts, a panel, and time to pray together, network, and engage in deep dialogue with other leaders of religious communities and safeguarding ministers. We are also offering the optional Safeguarding Retreat again this year.
Don’t miss this chance to pray, learn, build new skills, and support one another in a ministry that continues to be both vital and challenging. Register soon—space is limited, and we look forward to welcoming you and learning from your experience in safeguarding ministry.
