Once again, the Sisters at Caritas in Pittsburgh collected school supplies for the needy students in the Pittsburgh area. They filled 10 backpacks with the following items:
- Pencil case
- Three-ring binder
- A packet of binder paper
- A wooden ruler
- Six folders
- Three Composition notebooks
- A ten-count pack of pencils
- Ten ballpoint pens
- A large eraser
- A bottle of Elmer’s school glue
- Two glue sticks
- A pair of scissors
- A package of 12 Crayola crayons
- A packet of Crayola thin magic markers
- A packet of Crayola thick magic markers
- A pack of Post-it Notes
- Four individual packs of Goldfish crackers
- Nine individual packs of Gummy Fruit Snacks
- A $5.00 McDonald’s gift card
The 10 filled backpacks were taken to North Hills Community Outreach for distribution to students in need of these items.
