The Sisters of Charity of Nazareth proudly announced the winners of the 2025 Super Raffle during a celebratory gathering at the Motherhouse on July 11. The event, streamed live and attended by Sisters and supporters, raised funds critical to the Sisters’ global ministries and drew attention to their ongoing mission of serving the oppressed and marginalized.

What the Super Raffle Makes Possible
Proceeds from the Super Raffle fuel the Sisters’ ministries in the U.S. and abroad, touching lives and responding to real needs. Some projects supported by Super Raffle sales in recent years include:
- Disaster Relief: Aid for those affected by tornadoes, floods and ongoing climate-related disasters in Kentucky and surrounding areas.
- Camp Maria Nature Center (Maryland): A new space for reflection and learning.
- Fan Distribution Program (Bardstown, KY): Relief during extreme heat for vulnerable community members.
- Nazareth Winter Clothing Drive: Warm clothing for local children during harsh weather.
- Social Development Center (Musunuru, India): Empowering women and girls with skills in sewing, computers, and leadership.
- Wayanad Relief (India): Support for families displaced by landslides
Friday’s live drawing began with a prayer led by Sister Amrita Manjaly, SCN, invoking Psalm 118 and offering blessings for donors and organizers alike. “May the proceeds from this raffle serve to uplift lives, support our missions, and bring hope where it is needed most,” she prayed. The raffle served as both a fundraiser and a moment of joy, unity, and recommitment to the Sisters’ call to service.
The Sisters also highlighted upcoming events, including the annual Celebrate the Journey luncheon in September and a family-friendly trick-or-treating event on campus in October. Supporters who have subscribed for updates can expect to receive the upcoming impact report and calendar, providing a deeper look at the fruits of their generosity.
