Dear RFC Members, Partners and Friends,
Last week we were in touch with you to let you know that the National Office of the Religious Formation Conference (RFC) was open, while also monitoring the directives of local authorities and the decisions of Catholic Theological Union (CTU), on whose campus the RFC National Office resides. In these rapidly changing times, yesterday CTU announced that its staff will begin working from home starting this Monday, March 23, given ongoing concerns about the spread of the Corona virus. The RFC will do likewise.
Starting on Monday, the National Office will close and staff will transition to working from home. The work of the Conference and all programming will continue as seamlessly as possible.
The best way to reach RFC staff during this time is by email. Click for staff emails.
If an urgent matter arises and a conversation is needed, please use the Office’s main line as calls will be forwarded: 773.675.8362. Zoom (digital) appointments can also be scheduled with staff by email in the days ahead.
Once we have more information on the length of the National Office’s closure, we will share the information with our members and the larger RFC community. Decisions will continue to be guided by the health and safety of everyone involved.
The RFC Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn pages will continue to offer prayers, articles and other digital resources. RFC members are invited to utilize our plethora of online resources (e.g., archived webinars and presentations, articles and more) as a way to continue to engage the formative journey.
In these challenging times please know of our thoughts, prayers, and well-wishes. We stand in solidarity with our global family as we navigate these difficult days. To access a video recorded message of encouragement and support, click here.
