“Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.”

With deep sorrow and solidarity, the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, staff, and students of Nazareth School, Chandapura, gathered in the school auditorium June 19, 2025, to remember and pray for those who lost their lives in the Ahmedabad air tragedy on June 12.

Students offered fervent prayers for the families of the deceased, asking that they find strength and consolation amid such immense loss. Prayers were also offered for rescue workers, doctors, nurses, and all medical personnel.

As part of the service, students lit candles, placed flowers, and read sacred passages from the Bible, Quran, and Bhagavad Gita — symbols of unity, compassion, and shared mourning across faiths. Hymns sung by the school choir echoed the pain and sorrow felt by all.

The community stood in silence and prayer, embracing the grief as their own. Through this solemn observance, the school expressed solidarity with the bereaved and extended its sincere condolences.
