The changing and hope-filled realities of religious life today raise challenging questions regarding the present and future life of the global Church. These questions are especially relevant to formators who are engaged in the sacred ministry of accompanying new members. The critical questions most often raised by formation directors focus on how to be with new members as they discern their call to religious life.
Orientation to Formation is specifically designed for formators and other persons in leadership who attend to new members as they make their sacred journey.

A Conversation About the Vows Webinar Conversation

On September 13 the RFC will host a webinar discussion with the editors and an author of the book, In Our Own Words: Religious Life in a Changing World. Sisters Sarah Kohles, OSF, Juliet Mousseau, RSCJ, and Tracy Kemme, SC will join us for this conversation.
Webinars are open to all those who wish to attend. One does not need to be a member of the RFC to participate.

Life-Giving Community: Cultivating Communication, Connection & Compassion

In this workshop, Dr. Kathy Galleher will focus on ways to develop deeper intimacy and connection in community life. She will present practical approaches to deepening our understanding of one another within community (and across generational and cultural differences) and ways to resolve conflict that cultivate compassion. The workshop will include input, opportunities for questions, conversation and 'practice.'
In addition to in-person participants, the workshop will be available online via live-streaming for anyone with internet to access.
