Nov. 13, 2024, marks a significant day for the people of Singla, Darjeeling. It was on this day that Sister Dr. Sujita Muthalakuzhy, SCN, inaugurated her seventh mobile clinic for drug transmission therapy, a distinctive homeopathic approach known for its effectiveness, at Santi Ki Rani Church in Jorethang, within the Diocese of Darjeeling.
Sister Sujita was warmly welcomed alongside Sister Jackulin Jesu, the President of the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth by Fr. Paul Rai, the parish priest of St. Francis Assisi Church in Jorethang. Fr. Paul Rai expressed his deep appreciation for Sister Sujita’s ministry and introduced her work to the gathered community. He encouraged the people of Singla to take advantage of the healing services provided, emphasizing the dedication and skill that Dr. Sujita brings to each patient.
Fr. Paul also extended gratitude to Sister Jacky for her visit, adding a hopeful request for more Sisters to be trained in drug transmission therapy, underscoring the community’s need for continued and expanded healthcare support. Fr. Anselum Nirmal Lepcha, the parish priest of Santi Ki Rani Church, also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Sister Sujita for her commitment to the well-being of the local people.
